About our Kevin Burkhardt: 

Kevin Burkhardt is a prominent American sportscaster, best known as the lead play-by-play announcer for FOX’s NFL coverage and the studio host for FOX’s Major League Baseball broadcasts. Born on March 2, 1974, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, he graduated with a degree in communications from William Paterson University. Before making it big, Burkhardt held local radio jobs at stations like WGHT and WFAN, and even sold cars to make ends meet while chasing his dream of becoming a professional broadcaster. His big break came in 2007 when he became a field reporter for the New York Mets on SNY, which opened the door to a national role with FOX Sports in 2013.

Since joining FOX, Burkhardt has called NFL games alongside analysts such as John Lynch and Greg Olsen, and was named the lead announcer for Super Bowl LVII in 2023. He also anchors FOX’s MLB coverage, including the regular season, All-Star Game, and Postseason. Known for his approachable style and strong chemistry with his co-commentators, Burkhardt has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted and versatile voices in American sports broadcasting.
